Population "US"

As in you and me "US". So I hear this song by Matthew West (click the link) everyday on my drive to and from work and it gets me thinking to myself about the things that I don't do very often. What I really mean by that is what I don't do for other people. I drive to and from work everyday, sit around my house, play with my family and mostly think about myself, my life, my money, my problems, my work, my family, my everything. Do you see the common thought process? Me me me me me!
I am rather willing to assume that most of us do the same thing so here is a little challenge to all that may read this. I would like to persuade you to do something out of the ordinary in your own little world, I would like to see how many people are willing to do a little something for someone else just once. Take food to that person you see everyday asking for help, Forgive someone that you might not really want to, give some of your time to a good cause, stop a wrong from occuring that you stumble upon or whatever else you may come up with. That's pretty simple just one little thing to help someone else.Mmake your own little world about someone else just for a short blip of your day.
I ask this because when I hear this song it reminds me that no matter what is going on in my life there is someone that is worse off, maybe someone I love, someone I don't know, someone I may never see again, someone that is dying, someone in pain and for a brief second of my time I might be able to lift a portion of thier burden off of thier shoulders and bear it on mine. I think that you and I are strong enough for that. It might bring a smile to the face of a HUMAN and if it does I will be better for it.

Thanks,
Kev
